her presence consumes him. deft fingers fly across the keys; a flurry of notes trickling throughout the stagnant air, perhaps calling her forth, perhaps entwining the two. red string covets him, keeps him, tethering him to her! she moves like a shadow, so serene, awash in candlelight. death longs for life. life, fawn-eyed and heartfelt!
he is undeserving, he thinks, as he catches her gaze. his hands pause in their movement / a catch of breath, something dark within shrouding! the ghost is selfish enough to allow himself this moment, sealing it away within the thudding cavern of his chest.
