Oh this was exciting! Tink had told her about a new fairy coming to Pixie Hollow. They hadn’t anyone new in a while. Especially not from the Mainland. Periwinkle had always been curious about the Mainland. Whenever she went it was to help change the seasons. She never actually got to look around otherwise. So to talk to someone who most likely saw more than her was something she looked forward to.

Tinkerbell had yet to have created a device that managed to transport wingless fairies around in Fairy Haven. When her best friend Rani had sacrificed her wings to save, she had gone to work but come up empty. However, it hadn’t stopped her from trying, and it wasn’t going to - not when she knew more fairies were having the same request. “I’ve been working on something, but I haven’t been successful yet,” she responded, noticing how discouraged the other seemed. Placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder, there was a small smile on Tinkerbell’s lips and a determined look in her eyes. “But I promise you that it won’t stop me from trying.”

        The face was immediate - Rufio’s nose wrinkled, and the corner of his lip twisted upward.

       “What would I know where she is for?” Not, technically, what he had been asked, not that he cared. He was not in the mood to be lectured or compared to Pan, so, no. He had not seen the resident fairy of Home Tree. “Lucky I haven’t banished her.” 

        That, though, was a bluff. He wouldn’t bar anyone sanctuary – save, of course, a grown-up; a pirate. Rufio mad a vague gesture at the clearing in the center of camp. Or perhaps beyond it? A general that-way kind of flap of his hand. Not here. 

     He scratched the back of his neck, uncertain of what he should do. Terence knew that it was impossible to regrow wings. He had known Rani for years, and nothing had happened there.  ❝ I know how you can fly without wings, but it is temporary, ❞  he explained, holding the satchel of dust he had brought with him while on duty.  ❝ Though, I am not supposed to do this, consider it a share of my ration. ❞  Allowing his hand to dig into the satchel, he poured some of the dust out on Thumbelina. Watching as she started to slowly levitate above ground.
