To properly answer this: I am actually actively drawing them! It's just I took a step back and decided to give them an active story. And I am just very bad at writing an actual story (And doing comics, I really really don't know how to format a comic)

Oh I love that so much, because all I can think is the cats I've had/own.

Humans who are that hyper and excited over everything, screaming at their bot because they want attention or to show them something. Will lounge across their bots shoulders. Will bounce on them while they are recharging because they want attention.

Humans who will lounge around, sneak into bed and just give them the smug look while breaking something because you know what it's nice not having to pay taxes and getting treated like your a pet.

The sneaky human who you don't see much but they love snuggling with their bot and will hide until it's only their bot around and then you can't get them to let go once they have snuggled down into a comfortable spot.

My favourite aspect of Wind Breaker has to be its themes. There is a lot of focus on connection and community. Like how eating with others makes the experience much richer, fighting as a way of communication and understanding the other person, relying on others and being relied on, opening up to others, trusting them, etc. etc. Power of friendship type shit but actually wholesome and very interesting.

I really really love Suo bc while he is always there, he is never seen participating in any of that. He doesn't eat with the group, he doesn't fight to understand the other person, and he doesn't open up to anyone, and if he ever did, it was always just a joke. He is such an interesting character and I'm sooo excited bc the manga is starting to delve into his character!!! He is also very funny, very silly and just so punchable (literally got myself a Suo plush so I have a little punching bag when I catch up with the manga).

Sakura, as the main character, is fun to watch as he starts warming up to people, understanding them, caring about them. He's also not used to affection and affirmation so him getting bombarded with love and getting all flustered is very very fun to watch. He's like a little stray cat. My favourite tsundere of all time. He's so precious to me, he's so baby to me, I love him a lot.

Sakura and Suo are one of my favourite pairings, romantic or platonic, bc someone learning to embrace the idea of connection and someone actively staying away from it. That is ship potential right there. They also just have such an amazing and entertaining dynamic, Suo teasing Sakura, Sakura falling for it and getting extremely flustered when he realises that Suo was just playing him. Also I remember reading somewhere that Nobunaga Shimazaki (Suo's JP VA) said that Suo teases Sakura bc he loves seeing him all blushing and flustered. Seriously, the things I've seen Nobunaga Shimazaki say about Suo really makes me think he ships Suosaku, bc they are sometimes the most gayest things I've ever seen in my life.

ALSO Suo is voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki, yea, who also voices Nagi from Blue Lock. AND Sakura is voiced by Yuma Uchida who also voice Reo from Blue Lock?? Suosaku 🤝 Nagireo

Also Suo's character song being about Sakura?? SHIP!!! (yea Nirei's character song is also about Sakura bc both Suo and Nirei are guiding Sakura but let me dream, and also even better bc I also ship Sunisa, Suo × Nirei x Sakura)

I also love the queer representation with Tsubakino. He is such a cool and inspiring character and I love how he is so shamelessly himself. I love how proud he is of himself for being this way and liking Umemiya, like go off king!! This might get a lot wbk fans mad, but I gotta say it. I personally don't like it when people refer to Tsubaki-chan with she/her pronouns or claim he is trans or anything along the lines of that. He has clearly stated that he is a guy who just loves to dress feminine and loves stereotypically feminine things. That does not make him trans. He is already canonically queer in his own way, and I personally feel that referring to him with she/her pronouns is not respecting that. (sry got a little off topic)

There's also the queer representation, sort of, with Endo being absolutely infatuated and obsessed with Chika and Sakura, and how he is so open about it. We love an insane, aggressive man who's in love with his even more insane, aggressive and toxic husband, and some stray cat he picked up.

Other aspects I love about Wind Breaker, I really love the fight scenes and how every has their own distinct fighting style. Its so cool to see and it even got me doing some research on certain martial arts to better understand the characters, and to even make an oc at one point. I love the artstyle, it is so pretty and cute and I love it. The character interactions are wholesome and fun and the characters themselves are so interesting and relatable. Wbk is one of the few animangas where I love almost every character, everyone is so lovable (except for Sakura's dad). There are a lot of characters and pairings that I have yet to mention in this post, and I might yap about them in some other posts I make in the future. Like the characters I relate to the most are Sakura, Nirei and honestly, Sako in a way, I wanna yap about them sometime in the future :3
