And hoo boy does he have a few things to explain with his wife, more specifically how he found and carried the eggs over to their nest-

“..phil?” phil hears someone say, and he turns from where he’s perched to his wife.
“yeah, kristin?” he says innocently, staring down at the vulture-avian.
“wh..what’s this?” she says, gesturing vaguely.
“i don’t know what you’re talking about,” phil says matter-of-factly, pointedly not staring away from her.
kristin’s brow furrowed, and she gave him a Look™️.
“phil,” she deadpanned, before turning her attention to the three giant eggs inside the nest, one of which her husband was currently sitting on. “how in the world did you even get them here?” she continued, bewildered.
“oh, you know,” phil said, dodging the question, “i have my ways.”
“i will make you sleep outside,” kristin shot back, before taking off from the ground, landing on one of the eggs.
“phil, what even..” kristin trailed off, looking at him for answers.
“well, you know how we always talked about wanting kids..?” phil grinned at her, causing her feathered-ears to flick.
“i- phil, there’s a difference between talking about kids, and- and this.” kristin laughed at him, staring at the eggs once more.
“come onn, i don’t hear you complaining that much,” phil teases, reaching out and poking at her, “you’re not completely opposed to it.”
“i- well,” kristin tried to defend herself, but phil continued.
“plus, well.. these guys didn’t seem to have any parents. dunno if they were abandoned, or if they..” phil trailed off, before shaking his head, “well, no one was around to take care of them, so i thought.. well, why not, you know?”
krisitn seemed to slump her shoulders a bit when he mentioned the parents.
she thought about it for a moment, before-
“well.. i suppose it wouldn’t hurt-” she started, before getting cut off when phil rushed over to give her a hug.
“fuck yeah!” he shouted, as kristin giggled at his his antics, “we’re gonna be the best fucking parents to these kids.”
