“a... doll?”

he’d had no destination in mind when he set out on his walk, and no other purpose than to take in the sights of the quieter parts of the city - and what a strange sight it was, to see something laying in a field of those purple flowers. 

with its closed eyes, it looks almost peaceful - like it’d just decided to take a nap among the flowers, and it’s enough to give him pause.

staring out into the field, he lingers for a moment. by now, he’s had enough experience to know what the flowers do, and although they’ve only proven to be a minor annoyance so far, the risk they present is always there.

...but then again, there’s no one else here except for him and the other doll.

mind made up, he picks his way across the field, and gets a better view of it as he approaches. it’s more intricate than he’d originally thought - and also seems to be made of wood. he’s not sure what lifeform it’s meant to imitate, though. 

“Let’s see... if we cut through here, that should save me some time.” Thinking aloud to herself, she’d make a turn— cutting through an alleyway as a shortcut. The darkness didn’t bother her much, and even unarmed, Sally could fend for herself decently enough if there was anyone unsavory inside. Even fences couldn’t stop her.

While parkour was more Sonic’s expertise, the sight of the roadblock ahead of her did little do deter the chipmunk— who quickly leapt upon a nearby dumpster and vaulted over the chain link wall. As she landed, the sound of trash cans clattering behind her would catch the girl off guard. Did she accidentally knock something over?

Yet as she turned around, a pair of glowing eyes would throw her off.

“Whoa—!” She’d freeze, eyes still adjusting to the alley’s gloom... but as the visage of Belle came to light, the girl relaxed. Glowing eyes aside, the person in front of her looked like a girl. It was hard to get a clear look at her, but— a mobian? “Sorry. Did I startle you?”

“It depends.” Narberal is a woman with a few words but knowing something different is about this one, the other looked more like an automaton as Belle had said that her skin was made from ‘wood’.
