Hip jutting out to the side and grin wide, her arms slowly crossed overher chest as she fixed the oddball with a knowing look. Muted thanks toher glasses but there all the same. 

Injury/Torture Starters

“Uuuhh--” and Sphinx keeps backing away, taking them both on an agonizingly slow dance around the room. The windows are barred, and the door is closed, and Sphinx doesn't know whether any of Joker's goons are standing guard outside.

( And yes, he doesn't feel bad calling them that because most of them are as crazy as their boss. )

At the very least he isn't tied in any way, and the worst injury he has is a nasty bruise on his neck. It, and the rest, will heal. He might not if Joker gets his pasty hands on him, though, so he keeps backing away as the other inches slowly closer.

“I'm not panicking, I'd just rather... not.” The tremor threaded through his voice belies the truth, that he is, in fact, panicking. His throat closes up almost painfully, on the edge of actually hurting, and that makes it even worse. He takes a few more steps until his back nudges against the doorknob and slides his hand back to grip it. This is it. Please don't be locked.

One, two, three, he counts down mentally, twists and pushes. It's a pull door. He pulls, and the lock rattles. He's wasting precious time, here.

but the joker hates her and only keeps her around to make her miserable and for hired help so it makes sense...
