It's a coelacanth!
This was the last mold I 'worked' on. All that needed to be done was just look this guy over and repack him, but this fish was too cool not to include pictures!
The silicone mold you see here is unfortunately a little out of order. It's made of tin-cured silicone, which has a shelf life of about 5 - 7 years (so I'm told); the age of this silicone mold is probably over 15 years. But the plaster fill was made just recently, so we're thinking this mold is suitable for long-term storage.
