I was listening to the OBC version of “Cats” from 1983 while on the road. While I prefer the version of “Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer” where it’s them performing their song, I absolutely adore how Timothy Scott performs the song as Mistoffelees. He’s so charming as a singer and a narrator in that number.

Like the way he growls at “AND WHEN” during this part is gonna be stuck in my head tonight. It really sells Mistoffelees as a terrific performer before his own number.
