that's the concept that's been playing on my mind lately!! yes anon!!! for me it just makes sense that brudick > dicktim > jaytim pipeline happens (and in many more variations but ill just short cut the thought process)

brudick before dicktim makes perfect sense bc dick wants to be the best person for tim, especially after losing a little brother, and who else would be his role model other than the best person he's ever known? replicating the same things he's done with bruce to tim but in the role of bruce would probably make him start reflecting on things, but still in denial, until tim is... incidently either (1) asking for more in a Not Subtle way (2) or shows apprehension but still sticks around dick.

its important to me that both brudick and dicktim happenings remain largely unaddressed among them. that's where jaytim happens, with either jason sensing that something is very wrong going on with tim and deciding to... involve himself, or tim actively seeking out a sense of "wrongness," bc being around dick was so easy, too easy, too comforting, like drowning a bed of roses and numb to the thorns. he can't tell himself surely what they have is wrong, bc it doesn't feel wrong.

so he seeks out jason, someone who doesn't shy away from inflicting violence on him, so tim starts to feel the wrongness that was done to him, in an indirect, fucked up way to feel 'vindicated.' jason fucks him with no sense of love or concern the way dick would and it feels great and wrong and real. it's not something tim needs to second guess as something else.
