So glad I got the opportunity to see Honne live. They were amazing. Hooked.

This was my first rainy music festival and I thought I was going to hate it, but it made for an interesting visual opportunity that ended up being pretty great. Instead of tackling both days at Treasure Island, I left it up to two of our photo interns to take on day one by themselves and they really hit it out of the park. These past few months I’ve had more and more “editor moments” where I’m overwhelmed with pride and there’s no better feeling than watching them find their style and get excited about photojournalism. Together we built a huge gallery of fun photos and had some fun ourselves in the process. Above are some favorites images I made on day two of Treasure Island Music Festival. Enjoy!
