The life of Millie Oswin, many people aren’t certain of who she truly is. For many years she grew up in a household that did not care for her well-being, the shapeshifter community wasn’t one in that was high up in the supernatural ranks. They were the peasants so to say, they lived their lives in trailer park & were often in trouble with the law. She’s not entirely too certain who her actually family are, as a young child she was left on the entrance of the trailer park in Texas; nobody saw who left her, just a simple note ‘millie joy oswin, our dearest daughter, we’re sorry’ 

Years went by, her childhood wasn’t pleasant & even at a young age she had to earn her keep. She was given the leftovers at mealtimes, old second hand clothes & eventually she had enough. Rumours spread around the park, that her family were on a target list with the supernatural law. She began waiting for the best moment to leave & find her family at whatever cost. 

At the age of 16, she ran away; stealing whatever she could from those that were meant to ‘raise’ her. She knew they’d come looking eventually, but it was a risk she was willing to take. She passed through towns, asking questions about her family, seeking the truth if she could. For 8 long hard years, she tried to earn an honest living. Becoming a waitress, store assistant, bar tender; until someone saw good nature in her and offered her a chance to study. She passed her teaching degrees with flying colours, her ambition to help children, so they wouldn’t struggle like she did.

An opening as an English teacher came up at Mystic Falls High, she had heard the stories of how all supernatural for some reason took home there. & so Millie began to finally settle into a place she called home, living in a small cosy 2 bed house on the edge of town, she should have been happy- but an empty hole resides in her.

Details for the connection are ⮕ Upon Millie’s arrival into Mystic Falls 10 years ago, these two hit it off & became a strong duo. Oscar Watson, the household name that is known in the supernatural community. The Watson’s have lived in Mystic Falls for as long as they can recall. They used to serve as defenders to all supernatural kinds- until things went sour. Too many alterations in nature were provoking a breach in the magic community, remains of residents began piling & people going missing.

Generations went by, they concentrated on maintaining their town safety; by using sensible magic. Dark magic was forbidden in their household because of an ancestor hunger to be powerful. The death of Remus Watson, hit the family hard; he was their leader & the one they could count on when times were tough. His death remains a mystery, he was found slumped over his study desk, no harm or foul play- but yet his body seemed perfectly healthy.

Oscar is the last male in the Watson family, there’s a lot riding on him to be the finest leader of their community. Deep down he knows that someone close to the family circle had killed his father & with this his intentions to find out who has spiked. His life to this moment has been pointless & there was still so much to study. Identifying it was wrong, the darkness that travelled through his veins still fascinated him. & so, on his 23rd birthday, he tapped into those powers; his age halting in the process.

Nobody notices, not even his younger sister & they tell each other everything. Only time will tell of the consequences that he must encounter. Maybe he’ll turn insane or just maybe everything will turn out perfect (the first part being more true)
