A thing that grates me a frustrating amount in the cosmere fandom / fan community, is a thing that happens when the topic is mental health and the Next Step Coin comes up.
So many people talking about the Next Step Coin talk about the importance of getting therapy and how one can reach out and get mental health therapy through NerdHQ using the information on the Next Step Coin (and supported by the sale of those Coins — which are also available for free, to be clear).
But one thing that I have NEVER seen/heard mentioned whenever people in the fandom are spreading the word about this Next Step Coin, is that both NerdHQ and TimelyCare are american companies, and thus the "free healthcare for anyone" only includes people in the so called United States of America.
Every single cosmere fan outside USA is silently excluded, and the issue is rarely addressed at all.
