“Mind if I join you?” A hesitant voice broke the silence in the cargo bay.
Chopper didn’t move a bolt.
“I meant it,” Kanan said as he shuffled closer and sat down on a crate beside the droid, “I didn’t know that phrase was taken seriously as a strong slur, and I’m very sorry. I know I messed up, and I’ve come to beg your help to help me make it up to Hera.”
Chopper then noted he could detect a 32% variance in the Jedi’s voice which indicated he had been crying for the last few hours since the incident. Ugh, well maybe this organic isn’t a total loss, but I deserve an oil bath for putting up with this. Wait. What an excellent idea.
“Fine,” he beeped, “but it’s gonna cost you.”
