I got the most fucked up monster design idea so like giant hour glass with angel wings like hat kid's spirit hat's and inside there's these creepy faces (that sometimes look sad) morphing in the sand and sometimes hands pounding from in there whenever anyone tries to get through to her the faces morph into them and echos whatever mean things they said during their boss fight with hat kid

Problem is just fighting her won’t do anything. She’ll just heal herself with time.
She has to be brought back. She has to remember.

Question is how go about doing that, exactly. Unless we're going with the idea that she keeps reliving memories as the "battle" is going on. Switching through places she's been, times that've passed. More recent memories cropping up, too, like specific battles with certain bosses. Worse if the bosses in question can see this battle happening while Mu is trying to work thrrough it, because. man. they're getting called out in 4k by Hat Kid's memories rn
but anyway my point was: In going through these memories, Mu's main objective is just to SURVIVE, because HK will tire out eventually. She's still a child, after all. Essentially having a huge (well-deserved) tantrum that she'll get to the end of once all of those frustrations are properly vented out. Mu just has to try... and be there for her.
Wait imagine that in order to help my makes the other bosses apologize and face the consequences of what they did instead of standing on the sidelines and twiddling their thumbs
I would appreciate that more yes but I don't know how to go about doing that in a manner that would work easily!
Considering Hat Kid kinda going crazy going stupid at this point, and especially when her main source of anger would be. The bosses, currently, it would be a LIL difficult to manage to get each of them not only close enough to be heard, but also far enough so they can't get swiped and annihilated on impact
also there's characters who would straight up not apologize (mafia boss) and actually you know what yeah bring in those characters (mafia boss) to suffer for their actions (i want mafia boss to be crushed)
It would have to be a wholleee thing I think the only reason Mu is able to do much is because, while she'd be getting attacked as well just for being in Hat Kid's way, this is (presumably) prior to Mu taking the timepieces and trying herself to kill Hat Kid. So local beast has no fury towards Mu aside from their lil spat in Mafia Town before they split up. Which might sting a little but I can't imagine it would be comparable to the rage of "these bastards kept trying to kill me and I'm sick of that shit"
(esp since mu was actually a friend for a while,, while characters like. Conductor. Never really got that opportunity, given canon)
In a sad way I can see the hr glass as a kind of shield she put around herself she's tired of being betrayed and hurt so she's just lashing out and hiding away at the same time

Are they reacting to her as the Timebeast? Because. I feel like everyone would have a mutual feeling of horror, distress, and panic over that, sdhgskjdgh
Those that may realize that this is their doing, and would care about it, such as Conductor and/or Grooves, might become overwhelmed with guilt over what they believe they wrought.
Mafia Boss has one concern here and that's his own life, honestly.
Snatcher ?? ? ? ??? I don't know. That's a mess. If assuming this is post-BFF Contract, I feel like he'd be. Upset? About this? Genuinely? But emotions with Snatcher are such a complicated can of worms, especially since this man has been dead for so long. So I don't know how he'd go about showing it, if he would at all. Might just go "welp! Guess we're doomed or whatever! Catch you all when you join me in the afterlife!" and then skidaddle outta there because uh oh we can't just acknowledge that our actions added to a child's downfall to this degree. no babe we choose to ignore that. and even if we're NOT ignoring it then...
