Time for Timer was a series of animated public service announcements (PSAs) that aired on ABC's Saturday morning lineup in the 1970s, featuring a small, yellow, blob-like character named Timer who promoted healthy habits like good nutrition and hygiene through catchy songs and clever animation. Produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, the shorts featured the voice of Lennie Weinrib and are remembered for memorable segments like "I Hanker for a Hunk of Cheese" and "Sunshine on a Stick" (making homemade popsicles).
