photography. it was one of my main hobbies back home. had a good camera, lenses with high focus and all other tools, which i don't remember anymore. due to the introject-thing (bummer. now i have to re-learn the terms again). it's still a big hobby of mine though! (collective hobby, actually.)
this time i only have my phone, but it still takes pretty good photos. a lot of people even expressed surprise over the fact that i took the pictures with it instead of a professional camera or something. they're right though, the photos do genuinely look awesome.
my ego is as big as mt. everest btw. if you care. these photos are my pride and joy.
there are enough similarity between drawing and photography that i can figure out a good camera angle, lighting, perspective and composition for the end result to turn out well. i of course do some editing, but it's more like cropping and applying some effects to enhance the colors and add some contrast. nothing drastic. just to make it look closer to how it looks in real life. i'm good at drawing, and by proxy it makes it easier for me to be good at photography. #lifehack
my only sadness is that my phone camera is too weak to pick up any details of the moon. i managed to do it exactly once (1) and then never again. absolutely tragic. other photos still look good even with the moon as a white blurry circle because i'm special and unique.
hm. maybe i should actually get a camera again at some point... sighs dreamily. photography.... <3
