After a fierce weekend of battle at the second annual installment of The New York Coffee Festival last September, Yuko Inoue of Timberyard UK in London, made her name stateside as she wowed the judges and was crowned Coffee Masters NYC champion 2016. Yuko is Japan born, but works in London and won her title in New York. UK Coffee Week: THE DARLINGS OF ETHIOPIA UK Coffee Week is a fundraising campaign with Project Waterfall at its heart, raising money to bring clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities. In 2016, UK Coffee Week raised an incredible £275,000, with plans to increase this in 2017. Since 2011, the coffee community has raised over £580,000 for this incredible cause, changing over 21,000 lives in Nicaragua, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Ethiopia.
