my fav thing in the world is thinking about how bernard could have a weird relationship with hair. before he transitioned his hair was longer and curly. when he transitioned in high school it was Very Straightened and still Longish. during the paincult his hair had to be straigjt because it was buzzed (so that no one could pull his hair). when he gets with tim its a little longer (not Long, but it touches the back of his neck ) and its curlier (never as curly as it was before he transitioned but /shrug/) likeee his curly hair signifies his happiness, straight hair signifies a certain nervousness. short hair makes him feel Bad.it reminds him of the cult
