started playing telltale batman with @littlestarsailor >:D they don't have much of a batman interest so huge shoutout for wanting to play with me bc i have a Fixation. they're taking the controls while I make most of the dialog decisions.
we've finished just ep1 so far! highlights and random thoughts:
awkward loser bruce wayne <333 just giggling very hard at almost everything he does. "say hi, bruce" "hi bruce" god i know we made him say that but i hate him so bad (lying)
made harvey's campaign slogan "a new face for gotham" bc of course! I crack up every time
DYING at the scene in the park before oz arrives. like, comedy beat at every turn. we arrive. give homeless man money. take a step away, then realize we forgot to 'examine' this guy, so we walk back in case we missed something. EXTENDED shot of bruce just. staring at this ill man who is trying to sleep??? no information takeaways. in-universe, absolutely abnormal behavior from this man
then, we look at some graffiti, thinking we will get to see a close up of this art. nope! another extended shot of bruce's face as he looks at something asdlkjdgm
we also examine a shopping cart, something we're not confident bruce has ever encountered in the wild before. he's confused.
we then approach thug guy. we say hi. BRUCE, WHY. guy tells us to beat it. BRUCE LOOKS HEARTBROKEN? did you think you were gonna be besties
why does oz have a cockney accent lol.

bruce's bisexual energy when having coffee with harvey and selina. hehehe
in my mind, when selina slips bruce the piece of paper with the address on it, harvey DEF sees her do that and, combined with their insane flirting earlier (and bruce like, not letting go of her hand when they shook hands???) he thinks she just gave him his number. harvey's like, first bruce tells me to distance my campaign from him and now my gf's trying to hook up with him? i get dumped twice in one day?? Maybe this is what makes him snap 😔✊
oh montoya's in this! i loved her in my lois lane comic i read earlier this year <3 I wonder if she'll have much of a role in this game or if she's just a cameo for comics nerds
we really enjoyed the gameplay elements for detection and attack planning! very fun and creative. and felt very batman <3
