Die PGA Tour Champions präsentiert Golfer ab 50, die auf dem Höhepunkt des Sports jahrzehntelange Erfolge erzielt haben. Das Feld im Norwood Hills Country Club ist voller bekannter Namen. Aber lassen Sie uns nach dem Labor…

TL;DR - short version. I had an amazing time. Tim is awesome and you should totally check out the pics below and tell @powerfulweak she’s amazing. 

Ok. So. I made very little secret to those who talked to me that one of the biggest draws for me to go to DC con this year was because Tim was going. I planned for almost 5 months (including fabric and wig shopping) and spent a week patterning and making a Madalena dress. In literally the last two minutes, I lost the Meet and Greet by $5. I was SO BUMMED. I was terrified I wouldn’t really get a chance to interact with him when I KNOW how fast ops move. 

I decided if I spent that much time on the dress, I was going to wear it for the whole morning. Not just my photo ops. To my amazed delight, I actually made it to the front of the question line. Not only did I get to ask him to finally tell us which song from Galavant he danced down the prison block to dressed fully as Cain (She’ll Be Mine), but he demonstrated on stage. THEN. THEN that beautiful man commented on my dress in front of the whole theater. I was sooo happy I thought it couldn’t get better. 

I had two photo ops with him (happy accident. There was a glitch when I ordered the tickets and I thought the first didn’t go through. I didn’t fight it. It was Tim). They both turned out great, but Tim didn’t like the first one. So we retook it. I have three now :)

She gave me these guys for Christmas:

AMAZING RIGHT?! I knew instantly this was what Tim was signing. I was afraid I’d lose the crowns, so I left them at home. But these guys were hiding in my bag all weekend. 

So fast forward to the line. Well. not really. Because the line was suuuper backed up. Tim actually had to leave before they even got to gold row D (I was E) for photo ops and come back. I say this only to indicate that this was a LONG line. 

I get up there. I’m so excited. I plop them down. 

Tim takes one look, bangs his hands on the table and says, “THESE ARE SO DOPE!!” He then proceeded to stop the line. Looking up and telling people, “hang on a minute. Hang on JUST ONE MINUTE!!” He pulled out his phone and took a picture of them and said he had to send it to Mallory before gleefully signing the head. 

Of course I passed all this on to their creator, @powerfulweak who was super excited. 

And then this happened. 

She and I are BOTH DEAD. This was so awesome and amazing. And yes. Tim is a gift. And this is now proudly back on display in my living room:
