Today is just a day for old art. I think this was like the first time I really TRIED to make a background look good (and tried photoshop instead of SAI lol). My Nerevarine just chilling with a banner for dramatic effect, cuz why not. Supposed to be the Grazelands area I guess but I didn’t even add TREES or the other MOUNTAINS but whatever
I'm being lazy and leaving this as-is. Been fun actually coloring a drawing again for once, instead of just leaving it as a sketch. Light source? Never heard of her, we shade purely on vibes in this house.
Found some old art buried in one of my drives, and didn't feel like making a bunch of different posts for it. Honestly, might revisit/redraw some of these.
WIP Wednesday!
I finally get to do one of these, much thanks to @nerevarbean for tagging me! Some of these WIPs I've had sitting in my folder for a while, but gonna share them anyways because I can.
I gotta actually finish this sometime soon, but older WIP I had going of Tilven, obligatory Moon-and-Star ring and symbolism coming soon lmao
These next ones aren't TES, more of my original works (KT- or Knotted Threads), of my boy Nkosi, who is basically my "main villain" (if anyone remembers Nevosi from my older TES days, basically a "remake" of him-- also using that as an excuse to share this amazing art of old Nevosi by my dear friend @monoshikis (I still love this one a lot))
Very messy, as I'm trying to figure out how I want his natural hair to be.
Bonus- super old sketch of Nkosi and his daughter Tsehara out on a hunt (you can tell I spent more time on that collar-jewelry than the hands lmaooo)
Anyways, going to tag some folks, but absolutely zero pressure to do so @arimabari @monoshikis (double tags for you sorry lmao) @ literally anyone else who wants to, seriously do it, say I tagged you if you want (I gotta go do errands byyyeeee)

Hey there! Would you like to tell a little bit about your Morrowind-OC Tilven?👀 (That's him on your pfp yes? He looks very handsome<3)
Absolutely! <3 Tilven is my Morrowind OC, tho tbh the pfp art on there is an "alternate" version of him from my original works (Knotted Threads), but I'll get to that later lol
I kinda started out writing his entire backstory, and realized that was probably going to be wayyy too much, so... I'm just going to list out some fun little facts, and can make a separate post later if wanted more about his backstory lol.
Autistic, awkward, and dorky. He looks like he has RBF, but is actually very sweet and gentle. He cares a lot about people, especially family and friends, and was raised with ideals of helping or protecting others. It takes him a long time to learn that some people will take advantage of his kindness, and to gauge who is deserving of his help and kindness, and who he should just leave be.
He has a bunch of scars, but the most notable are the ones on the left side of his scalp. He was slashed by some creature (haven't decided what) as a young child, until his adoptive father Lliryn came along and killed the creature before it could do more harm. From that day on, hair that grows there is awkward around the scars, so he prefers to shave that side of his head.
He is generally kind to those he cares for, but he does have a dark side to him. He's very, very protective of those close to him, and will straight up butcher anyone who tries to hurt those he cares for. Do NOT mess with his family or friends. If he doesn't kill you, he'll make you wish you were dead. And he can be incredibly petty.
On a brighter note, he loves cats. Started as a joke during old RP days, and has evolved into how one day, sometime after Red Year, he gets a pet cat (who might just be an Alfiq khajiit) who helps him survive the major depression after Red Year- and on THAT note, he actually greatly admires Khajiit and finds their culture to be fascinating and dreams of visiting Elsweyr one day.
Speaking of Red Year, it seriously messes him up. He pretty much in some roundabout way blames himself for it, and also starts having resentment for Azura (who he used to highly revere during the height of his Nerevarine days), seeing himself as having just been her pawn.
He is around during Skyrim, I like to imagine he's just wandering the lands, helping other Dunmer refugees when he can, and is available as a companion to the Dragonborn in RPs cuz lowkey love the idea of old-hero meets new-hero, and he imparts some wisdom there. That said, don't be surprised to find him drunk at the statue of Azura, cursing her out and being all belligerent.
And final note- about the pfp/alternate version of him. In my Original Works (KT), his name is Teremun, and his story is similar/inspired by Morrowind and a few other things (aka I watched Prince of Egypt way too many times as a kid and took inspiration there). Child of prophecy, reborn spirit of a betrayed important figure, destined to take down a tyrannical and corrupted Pharaoh, yada yada super long story. I could go more into detail, but I've already rambled enough here, and the question was more around Tilven than his alternate version of Teremun anyway, haha. Anyways, thank you so much for the Ask!
Y'know, every time I play Morrowind, and it comes to just "pick up a guild" to move along the gameplay/main quest, I for some reason end up picking the Fighter's Guild. But I've never actually done a single quest beyond... literally the first one, probably?
My point being, if I were to follow along with the gameplay, technically Tilven would have been part of the Fighter's Guild, and I... have no idea what he and Julan would have done there besides that initial first quest. I just always jump headlong into the main quest as soon as I can.
Maayyybeee I should actually do a few more quests just to see what it's about. It's funny, though, I should probably also toss him into the Mage's Guild at some point as well- not really for the questline there, but cuz he's gotta get good at Destruction magic from somewhere.
