Evgenia Arbugaeva, Uncle Vanya and his Banya, Tiksi

In honour and loving memory of all dearly departed TIKSI ensemble members. My dad Sergey Matveev, keyboardist and singer, is only one alive and well now. Group was found in 1979 in small Russian town Tiksi also called the Yakutia sea gates. TIKSI was performing and popular in Sakha Republic in 80s-90s.

Based on a line from a scientist in the RBY games (found in the Silph co. building), gijinka who are what we would consider Russian or of Russian descent originate from a region called Tiksi (much like Kanto, is named after an area within Russia/Japan). Taylor, Nikolai, and Annick all have Tiksian families.
