since it feels like its been a long time since I last drew something lion king related I figured I'd draw one of the pairings that I like.

After a while of balancing priorities of art and school (school is winning :c), as well as mostly being on TLK/Zootopia AU kick lately, I decided to sketch Tiifu with a rare expression for her as a warm-up to get back into the swing of feral TLK art. Kinda shares my feelings with the incoming midterm-centered assignments 😭

The thing about going back to imagining the characters as feral animals living in nature can be so jarring after a while of imagining headcanons for them in anthropomorphized roles. With an established society like that, the possibilities are endless, while the feral, nature-based world feels super limiting for a little bit :/
