a huff escaped from her lips, slightly amused from her partners reaction. sherry’s first instinct was to try and hide her smile. yet, it seemed impossible whenever jake was around to force it out of her. a small hand covered her mouth, not letting him win.

“you’re seeing things, jake. i was just uncomfortable.” a terrible lie. she knew he wouldn’t buy it, but the least she could do was try. although, seeing him claim she smiled made her happy. (it’s the little things in life.)

the blonde removed her hand, biting back a smile. all she could do was stare up at jake. sherry always seemed to forget how tall he was compared to her. although, she was always shorter than the people she knew.

“me smiling is a huge deal, huh?”

Leon stares blankly into the plastic bag with a pack of plain, white, cotton socks; deodorant; and other various hygienic items. His brow pulls together in the middle of his forehead before looking up at Jake once more.

"i think you look amazing. but you're the one wearing it, y'know."

"it's going to take some time getting used to... but, it's not so bad. besides, the tights are cute-" she played with the chain belt, leaning onto her heels.

"you really think so? i thought i looked silly... but, i trust your judgement. so, thank you!" a soft smile appeared on her face. sherry still wasn’t used to the compliments, but she could finally take them.
