Recap: Baxter was found in the main lab by Tigerclaw after a fight, led by one of Tigerclaw’s job offers. The job offer said that he needed to take out a mutant black panther named Riot. Instructions weren’t clear on what was expected to be found in Riot’s place of work. All Tigerclaw knew was he didn’t expect to find Baxter. Tigerclaw helped get rid of the chain holding Baxter to a metal desk, he was questioned who he was by Baxter. He felt Baxter deserved his answer.

Baxter looked at Tigerclaw with more knowledge of who the Tiger man was. “Baxter…. my name is Baxter” he said with a calm but broken up voice, due to Baxter’s buzzing caused by his fly mutations. Tigerclaw nodded slowly as he heard Baxter reply to his question. Suddenly both of them heard a loud bang that came from a few floors below them. Tigerclaw then reached a hand out to Baxter as if telling him to follow. Baxter decided to take his hand and carefully, Tigerclaw guided Baxter out of the lab. As they turned the corners in the halls, Tigerclaw stayed on high alert, ready to defend both of them. As they were almost to one of the emergency exits, they were unfortunately stopped. “You failed your little assasination” the black panther spoke. Both of them turned to see him, Tigerclaw snarled while sounding annoyed. “I didn’t fail, You just forgot to die” Tigerclaw said with partial intention to make a joke. Riot laughed a deep chuckle then followed it with an angry aggressive growl, “GET OUT, before I kill both of you” Riot practically barked out those words, revealing his claws for dramatic effect. Tigerclaw slowly moved Baxter so he was behind him. The whole time Tiger claw did that, he kept his locked gaze fixed on Riot, prepared for his next move. Tigerclaw now stood his ground with Baxter behind him. Riot decided to take a few steps forward and stop. Testing Tigerclaw’s limits. “Stop right there” Tigerclaw said firmly with a bit of threatening in his voice. Riot smiled at him, showing all his teeth. Tigerclaw kept his hand hovered over his gun. Baxter watched closely, waiting for something to happen. Riot slowly fixed his stance to a fighting stance, without warning he charged towards Tigerclaw. This sudden move didn’t startle Tigerclaw one bit since he has dealt with this kind of thing more than once. Riot was about to swing his claws towards Tigerclaw’s face, Tigerclaw reacted fast and sharp. Tigerclaw blocked Riot’s claws with his arm, resulting in his arm being exposed to Riot’s claws. With Tigerclaw’s other arm he pushed him in Riot’s stomach towards a wall. That didn’t stop Riot, he immediately bounced off the wall and swung again towards Tigerclaw. This time punching Tigerclaw in the face, Tigerclaw instantly swung back at Riot knocking him into an open elevator shaft. Riot fell, although the elevator shaft was only three stories up and Riot survived the fall. Unfortunately this meant Riot would be back but this did give both Tigerclaw and Baxter time to run for it. Tigerclaw wanted to stay and finish his job, but Baxter, though, changed his mind. Tigerclaw knew if Baxter was still present, he'd be exposed to more danger. Tigerclaw, without any other thought, took Baxter by the hand and led both of them out of the building and went to a much safer spot to hide within the city they were in.
