I placed an order from The Figaro Group this week and it was delivered just in time for lunch. Founded in 1993, Figaro Coffee is a premier full-service coffee chain whose menu also includes sandwiches, pastas, set meals, as well a selection of freshly-baked muffins, cakes and pastries.

I was really impressed with the Figaro Gourmet MealBox which only costs P100 each! These are quality ready-to-eat rice meals that promise a satisfying lunch. You can choose from six different pork or chicken rice sets and these are such an upgrade from the ones being sold in convenience stores.

It’s so easy to feed a hungry pack of family members with these very affordable Gourmet Mealboxes. These are restaurant quality meals at convenience store prices.

Among my favorites here are the Roasted Pork and the Pork Sisig rice meals. These would also be a convenient option for office lunches or small family gatherings during the post ECQ environment, since you don’t have to share dishes.

I also enjoyed the Chicken Arroz ala Cubana especially with its fried egg on top. Other options include Stir-Fried Chicken, Pork Teriyaki, and Breaded Chicken Kare-Kare served with kare-kare sauce on the side. I actually ordered enough for the next two days, since I can just keep these in the fridge and just reheat them in the microwave when I want to eat them.

Figaro also offers its outstanding lineup of pastries for delivery. I ordered a pack of their Heavenly Cheeseroll (P230 for 4pcs) for my afternoon snack. These light and fluffy cheeserolls are similar to a sweet ensaymada but with a softer texture.

Kids and kids-at-heart will love these Chocolate Lava-filled Muffins (P340 for 4pcs). Heat them up a little bit and let the chocolate lava ooze out from inside the muffins.

Figaro also has other cakes and breads like the Chicken Chipotle Buns, Mango Cheesecake, and Red Velvet Cake among others. You can even get Figaro Coffee's famous House Blend or Barako Beans for your coffee fix.

I also ordered a few pre-cooked items from Tien Ma’s Taiwanese Cuisine. Tien Ma’s features authentic Taiwanese dishes such as Xiao Long Bao and Siomai but I was more interested in their delectable main courses which are good for 4-5 persons.

These dishes are served frozen so just pop them in the microwave for a few minutes and they are ready to be served. The Sweet and Sour Pork (P435) is a popular Chinese specialty that you can find in most restaurants. 

I really liked the Stir-fried Beef with Broccoli (P440). The flavorful beef strips were cooked with savoury oyster sauce plus the crunchy broccoli and vegetables make it a complete and balanced dish. The Fish Fillet in Black Beans Sauce (P435) is also a good seafood item to go along with the other meaty dishes.

Ordering at www.thefigarogroup.ph is so easy. Just add your orders to the cart and pay for your purchase through bank transfers or credit cards. With a minimum purchase of P500, you can schedule your order for pick-up or through third party delivery apps from their commissary located at 33 Mayon Street, Barangay Malamig, Mandaluyong City. Ordering cut off time is until 5:00 pm daily while pick-up time is between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm the next day. Same day delivery is also available with a lead time of 3 to 4 hours. Being stuck at home now doesn't seem so bad when you have these delicious items from Figaro and Tien Ma's to keep you company.
