Okay but, Post-"Lost Mark" Tiarabloom:
Diamond is sad because of how fricked up life with her family is, so Apple Bloom makes her an “honorary Apple” so she can have a family who unconditionally loves her for who she is.
Apple Bloom and the Crusaders show Diamond how to play different games and stuff, and just be a kid in general, and Diamond realizes that she’s having the most fun she’s had in forever.
Apple Bloom ends up being the one who’s available the most often (Silver Spoon has all these things her family wants her to participate in, Sweetie Belle is taking singing lessons, and Scootaloo is getting flying lessons from Dash), so Diamond ends up going to her a lot whenever her life gets especially stressful, and Apple Bloom is always willing to put down whatever she’s doing and listen.
Diamond is amazed at how quick Apple Bloom was to forgive her, and sometimes worries that Bloom just feels sorry for her or something. But Bloom assures her that it’s all in the past–and that her past is not today.
Apple Bloom helps Diamond discover that she’s really great at poetry/song-writing (as evidenced by her songs in “Lost Mark”).
