Tiantian Li is an artist who was born in Guangdong Province, south of China. She received her BFA from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and MFA from China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Li is currently in her second year of the Master of Fine Arts program at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She recently is thinking about texture of fabric around her daily life and has built her work through scenography, collage and oil painting. Her work is part of a lifelong connection with fabric, from man-made fabric to artificial and imaginary worlds.

Since then Li has exhibited in Asia and Europe. She has a lot of cooperation with Asian and Germany galleries. Her work has also been shown in many major art museums in China, such as National Art Museum of China, CAFA Art Museum, GAFA Art Museum, Shanghai Oil Painting Sculpture Institute and Songzhuang Museum. She also took part in many shows in Philadelphia recently, such as PAFA’s Gallery 128, FMC Tower, Fireside Gallery at Mainline Unitarian Church and Community Arts Center. In spring of 2018, Li was awarded the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Venture Fund.
