New Game Idea
I’ve been playing around with the TI-84 calculators for a while now, and I have some challenges for anyone who is brave enough.
Rules:
1. Give a numerical answer. All calculations must be done on the TI-84. If a number is too large or a decimal, numbers rounded to 8 or more decimal places is OK.
2. No programs must be written. No Python, no prgm programs, no apps, just every native function.
3. Assume the RAM has been cleared.
3. Brute force is possible, but not recommended. To combat this, every challenge has the number of presses I took from a cleared RAM. Try to match it, or do better!
If you don’t have a TI-84, you can play along here.
Here are my current favorite challenges:
1. What is 20! ? (par: 7)
2. What is the sum of the reciprocals of 1-100? (par: 12)
3. Get a syntax error in 2 presses
Get a domain error in 3 presses
Get an overflow error in 6 presses (unsolved: 5 might be possible)
4 (HARD). Find the 250th Fibonacci number (par: 24)
5 (BONUS). Get your calculator to display “15” using 1 key press.
Next semester I have Math 1030: contemporary mathematics
My last math class ever. I gotta dig out my old TI-84
Miles Morales is canonically taking AP Physics, which obviously means he has a TI-84 graphing calculator and obviously it is decorated. How do we think he decorated it squad?
hee hee my graphing calculator has python on it

spring 🌸 ahhh, my favorite season... as usual, i spend most of my days working and studying... contrary to popular belief, i do enjoy studying. i think i'll always be a lifelong learner.
An extensive hardware modification, but the stealthy integration works well.
I got a calculator!!!!! (nerd)
THIS is a TI-84 Plus CE, and it’s one of the BEST calculators ever!!!! My favorite thing about it is the color. Ugh, I love pink!!! It can do the same things other calculators do, except way cooler. The one characteristic separating this from them is the fact that it has color. Ugh!!!!! *explodes into a million pieces*
(erm… please excuse my shaky hands. I was tired when I recorded this -_-)
