Okay so the Clones adopting Mandalorian culture is fun and all but what if they went a different way? We know Mandalore never acknowledged them and I don’t think it’s far fetched to think that they might resent them for that. I also don’t think it’s far fetched for Palpatine to have understood the power of having a culture to be loyal to. So, what if, instead of adopting Mandalorian culture or creating their own, the clones were trained by a couple Thyrsians who were planted by Palpatine.
What if, to spite the Mandalorians who rejected them, the clones adopted the culture of their longstanding military rivals, the Thyrsians. A subspecies of the Echani, both Thyrsians and Echani are famed warrior cultures with a biological quirk that makes children of the same parents almost visually indistinguishable from one another. The Thyrsian subspecies have darker features and a patriarchal society as opposed to the Echani’s matriarchy and pale skin and paler hair and eyes. Thyrsians also favored heavier armor and weapons than the Echani.
Not to mention, the Thyrsians fell under the influence of the Sith Order, serving both Darth Plaguise and Darth Sidious, and some became the Emperor’s Red Guard after the rise of the Empire.
I just think the whole Mandalorian clones thing is kinda forced and over exaggerated and honestly probably unrealistic. There are other warrior cultures in the galaxy with much more in common with the clones. After all, the Echani and Thyrsians were allegedly the result of Arkanian genome experimentation. They wouldn’t judge people for being genetically engineered, especially not if they’re warriors. It would be so much more interesting for the clones to have a culture that could accept them instead of how so many Mandalorians saw them as less than human.
