regularly does sports, tbh the best in shape of the entire volton family (don't ask about their basketball days unless you want impromptu lessons)

tries to teach windsor to be a little less ambitious, but. they're where windsor gets it from

can go from hilarious to frighteningly serious real fast. generally a relaxed (grand)parent but greatly values respect

used to have a bit of a complicated relationship with rory, but tries to appreciate the simpler things in life with her now

windsor bowie volton (the wublin kids' parent)

designs and programs ambitious machinery projects, loves to sculpt in the little free time they get

wanted to adopt one kid at first... then got 5... then found 2... and then got more and more and mo-

only really gets personal time with his kids on weekends and vacations, has built machines into their home to help take care of them, but worries about not being a good/present/deserving parent

big nerd, as you can tell by his kids' middle names

rory winslow volton (windsor's sibling, the wublin kids' aunt)

never quite figured out what she wants to do, unlike windsor who is dead set on his goals. currently the world's most tired florist

thinks windsor and his kids are ridiculous, but cares about them, to her own dismay (when babysitting, would either lounge around in the couch and tell them off for being naughty from there or spontaneously drive them to an amusement park. depends on how she's feeling)

kinda sarcastic, kinda mean, but can give great advice if you're on their good side. shows affection and care through gifts because expressing it is hard for them

dwayne rowell volton

oldest child, so kind and responsible (wishes he wasn't). cusses a fair amount but only around his friends (any time it slips out at home, his siblings don't let it go. like OMG DWAYNE SAID THE F WORD!!! AAA)

hairdresser by day, punk band drummer by night; the local alt scene loves him

deeply longs to find true love, but does NOT have the mental capacity to deal with such strong emotions

loves all things morbid and horror, has only reluctantly let his siblings play disturbing games with him before (most of them regretted it greatly)

can barely ever say no to his siblings, evidently

a planner, very thoughtful to the point of getting lost in their thoughts; responsible but kinda air-headed

very open-minded, tries to understand all sides of a discussion

nosy gossip girl at heart, but not to spread rumors. just wants to know the tea (and tell a trustworthy sibling, perhaps)

loves sewing and wearing their own cosplays. likes being a person/character they like for a while (weak sense of self)

probably has ADD, also struggles with frequent dissociation

brendan balthazar volton

seems insensitive because he has a crude sense of humor, but is a great listener and a loyal friend

impatient, prefers instant gratification, "ARE WE THERE YEEEEET"

proud plant parent, has named every plant in his room (gardening also helps him train his patience)

discourages his younger siblings from taking the same path though. most often the one that gets them out of dumb situations, then gives them a stern but understanding lecture about it in the car

kind of gloomy; self-conscious and dry, slightly leans into the fact he's not very pleasant to be around

super into writing/poetry but would never show anybody (explodes anyone who tries to see)

vulnerable and friendly towards sad people because they get each other. prefers to feel pain over shutting it away for later

dreams of abandoning society, escaping into nature and starting a farm... but fears the countryside because of the amount of critters, ironically

zuzanna kerry volton

very straightforward, leaves NO room for procrastination

serious even when he's being silly, but enjoys making people laugh WITH him

thus has a fondness for the kazoo. it's just funny you can't go wrong

great at taking care of their siblings when they're down or sick, will give them advice while he makes them their comfort meals

has a soft spot for kids. she's like gordon ramsey with kids vs. with adults, look it up

gifted kid burnout; used to think they were the best, still feels the need to be

very humble and genuine nowadays though

pretty squeamish with blood and injuries, often reminds friends and family to look out for their health

likes to draw and paint (fork found in kitchen); they keep the house tidy but their own room is ultra messy and full of unfinished projects

used to have bad anger issues, still kinda does but now uses noise and loud music to vent it out

very shy, prefers not to speak in public but lets her smile do the talking

couldn't hurt a fly. literally. genuinely gets so sad if she hurts any being or object

not a pushover though, kind but consequent with her gremlin little siblings (making derya even the slightest bit annoyed is enough to make her siblings reflect on their actions immediately)

everyone LOVES her cooking

dreams of opening a nail art studio/salon one day, with a focus on natural products

gabriel kurt volton

huge ambivert, either making 4 new friends or talking to nobody. everyone likes him tho like he has Zero Beef

super patient, gets sad instead of angry, much to his own annoyance; wants to be less of a doormat but feels bad getting mad

collects tea, herbs and inscenses. room is an olfactory rollercoaster mostly lit up by candles and glow-in-the-dark stuff

also mixes his own perfumes, wants to find the perfect fragrance for each of his siblings

loves the spotlight, natural performer... maxed out charisma stat (the more introverted wublins are SO happy when he steals the show during family gatherings)

some people think he's self-absorbed but he doesn't really care

would rather hide than be upset in front of anybody else, even when she'd need the support; not as emotionally open as you'd assume

bit of a hoarder ESPECIALLY with shiny stuff, gets defensive if you want to throw out things she "could still use"

also collects obscure CDs and tapes, if you listen to them with him you're officially his GOAT

seems reserved, but will enter any conversation that's interesting to her. just dislikes surface-level talk

wants to be mysterious so bad, some think her deep stare is creepy but she's incredibly gentle

takes things to heart, very empathetic but also gets self-conscious quick

absolutely loves giving people makeovers, happiest when she makes someone's "outsides as beautiful as their insides" (not creepy at all)

builds and curates a little town for snails in the volton's backyard (with derya, mawar and flick's help)

HATES cleaning HATES it DESPISES IT. kinda lazy

seems uninterested or aloof at first, but is very excitable and funny if you give him a chance

incredibly curious; tries to eat things they shouldn't just to know how they taste. likes bitter, for some reason

usually quiet but by no means a loner, drags the people they like most around with them everywhere

greatly enjoys attention, clings to siblings so they play with their hair and pat their head. very cuddly/clingy in general

has a low frustration tolerance, doesn't cry easily but when it cries it doesn't stop

very persistent very determined, good at motivating themself and others (especially scilla when they're refusing to clean)

really wants to prove himself to others, but forgets to value his own approval
