Pao is a ghost. He is also a tiny idiot and I love him far, far too much for that. I mean, he literally is just a tiny idiot ghost-child and I adore him. I love him and his tiny, tiny simple thoughts.

I am really wondering how this story is gonna go... I mean, I don't think they're gonna pull a HCTM with Pao staying forever but I'm also not exactly sure if this is a SMIL situation either where it's going to turn out Pao isn't dead. Unsure but am looking forward to it.

And darling Pao who loves Thurs just as much as he is loved and just wants to protect him and care for him and see him just as happy as he's made him. That's all he wants but he knows he can't be the one to do that, not as a spirit, not from the afterlife.

They're just so cute and so gentle and watching Thurs break down at the amusement park is painful and lonely and soft and filled with such a sense of bleakness over joy that it just.. resonates.
