Delivery (Ordinary Heroes x Pokemon)
The pizza delivery man stared at the grizzled raichu who had answered the door. The pokemon had a metal bat draped over one shoulder and a deep scowl upon his face. Behind him, a pair of pikachus were putting on some knuckle dusters.
“Uh…” the pizza guy stuttered. “A… Mike Orange ordered this?”
The raichu rolled his eyes and then turned, gesturing for the pizza guy to follow him. The pizza guy grimaced and trailed after the pokemon, casting a wary eye about at the assortment of weapon-wielding pichus, pikachus, and raichus who all stopped what they were doing to stop and glare.
“Oh, stop that.” The pizza guy nearly collapsed in relief as a pink-haired woman bustled into the room. “Here.” She handed him some money. He blinked. That was a very generous tip she was giving him. “That should cover it.” She turned. “Mike!”
The pizza guy’s eyes widened in disbelief. An orange gengar walked through a nearby wall, grabbed the pizza, and then vanished with it.
“I know.” Lumina chuckled. “Nobody knows why Mike likes his pizza with pineapples, but, hey, he’s a ghost type. It’s probably better not to question it.”
“Uh, right.” That wasn’t the question he wanted to ask, but he’d just roll with it. “Um… thank you for ordering. Please feel free to order from us again next time.”
“We will. Mike loves your chicken pizza with pineapples on it.”
At the poker table, Mewtwo (aka Dave) shook his head. “And people call me bad. Pineapples on your chicken pizza? How… barbaric.”
Mike simply grinned and offered a slice to Thunderbat who had taken his place at the table again. The raichu shook his head, and Mike offered the slice to the last participant in their poker game. Bahamut gave a rumble of agreement and took the slice of pizza.
