According to Billy Joe Cobra’s TV trope entry, he had made a cameo as one of the extras in the first Equestria Girls film (continuing to appear in the following sequels), supposedly being the character, Thunderbass. He is even a rocker, like Billy, and also has similar clothing and skin color to the narcissistic, ghostly pop-star.
Dude, That’s My Ghost premiered on February 2nd, 2013 while the first EG film didn’t premiere until later the same year on June 16. So it could be possible that Thunderbass’ design was, indeed, inspired by BJC. I just want to know if this had been confirmed or if it’s just a mere coincidence (which would be a mighty big one if it is).
Dear Arceus, please let it be true that Billy was an extra. I’m a big fan of DTMG and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic/Equestria Girls, so this would be an awesome fun fact!!! I watched the EG films a dozen times each but I didn’t get into DTMG until about July of this year, so I was unaware of this surprising cameo lsdkfh.
