It’s been a few months now since enigmatic duo Thunder Jackson thrilled us with their contagious debut, Guilty Party, a sleek sashaying alt track that delivered a whole lot of funky swagger, too. While we still don’t know too much about the pair, we now know that they’re a Welsh-American project. Both musicians are now based out of California, but one was originally from Oklahoma City, while the other came from the south coast of Wales. Thunder Jackson steps back into the limelight with their second song, Colours, which places their penchant for seedy, seductive California inspired noir on full display. Colours is a glistening, neon-lit anthem bursting with slick, sexy allure. Despite its sultry veneer and glossy synths, it’s also an exquisite alt pop brooder. Thunder Jackson has been working on a debut album in a basement studio in Los Angeles this past year, and it’s scheduled to arrive soon.
