i’m scary in love with you

like, not in the follow you around, plot to murder you, hoard your belongings kind of way. no.

it’s the it overwhelms me how i can feel this much in my chest and this pressure behind my eyes holding back the tears of when i think about you and how beautiful you are and have made everything around me makes me feel dizzy even discussing it - kind of way.  i still feel like i thought, no - dreamt you into life and everything i dreamed that could come from this has not even hit a percentage of it because it couldn’t know just how powerful it would be when our two stars collided. 

sometimes i get so scared thinking of all the possible ways things could go wrong, this could end or even worse, i could lose you... i try not to think about it but in retrospect it only makes me appreciate you more, love you more, cherish you more. i want to hold you in this moment forever, when we are so in love that i can feel it in everything we do, in our home and in the way you look at me (which is something i’ve never known before, at least not in this way)

our story is my favorite, but maybe i’m a little biased. it took us time to get here, but i think it was all a part of the story. a part of the process of learning and loving each other, which makes every day brighter for me. i wrote you letters for years and now you have that journal. the kick is, i still write you - you just haven’t gotten them yet. that first set was so full of turmoil and doubt, unease and speculation. now i am resolved, now i am sound, now i know for certain what we have and what we will continue to cultivate in our life together.
