Ohhh my gosh, anon, YES

I am ah... afflicted with what I call a wandering accent, which essentially means if you put me in a room with someone with a strong accent I start mimicking them. I really don’t mean to, it just happens. I once spent two weeks sharing hotel rooms with two Australians and by the end of it I had a terrible aussie accent. 

ANYWAY. Yes, I love this. I love this a LOT. 

Attina had essentially disappeared after that London bloke had walked on in and a few text messages later, Robin knew something was up. Andrina was also not responding and he’d closed up the store on his own and shuffled over to the Deer to grab a bite and a pint. The next few days were tea shoppe day and still, Attina didn’t respond, and that night, when he was on his way back home to that dingy little flat in Benbow, he made a sharp left and decided to walk right to the Triton home.

It was a whim – a sort of fanciful one that he was following because Rob was the sort of person to follow fanciful whims by moonlight. Also he was worried and she wasn’t answering her text. And also he wanted to know who was picking up the morning shift tomorrow. That was a lesser issue, but that was what he was gonna tell her, y’know provided she was in the jokin’ mood –

How he knew she wasn’t at her flat was beyond him. Divine intervention, the magic in the air – whatever the reason, Robin didn’t know, but he knew that it told him to go to the house (and he knew the address ‘cuz Attina had described it to him) and he knew which window it was too.

And he did what any bloke looking for a pretty girl in the moonlight would do and took a small pebble and chucked it right at her window. It clattered and bounced off. He took another one.
