THROBB WEEK VI - role reversal
what if.... Balonās rebellion were successful, and demands Eddard Starkās eldest as tribute for two dead sons? Lady Alannys though, in grief of her sons, finds warm feelings in her heart for the scared 5 year old boy. Bold and fierce, angered over her husband's madness has taken her two sons, she takes her remaining children and the hostage Stark heir with her to Harlaw. Under Cleftjaw's and Victarion's schooling, Asha, Theon, and Robb become excellent in swords and axefights. Theon even earns most copliments by learning quickly, moving like a panther, fighting on deck as he would fight on land, and his superb archery skills. On other days all three sigh under Rodrick Harlaw's strict but hollistic schooling. By night Alannys kisses her children good night, sometimes tells them stories of wild Levianths and fierce pirate Ladys (for Asha). Robb never tries to cry, he's a Stark and a heir, but Alannys sometimes hides the little Starkling in her arms, for none seeing his tears. As happy as Theon is at Harlaw, he soonn begins hating going to Pyke were allpride gets broke by one of his father's cold words. The tension rises between favoured Asha and Theon, yet Asha knows of her brother's tourment. After one huge fight in which both end up crying hating each other hating themselves, Theon learns that he could never be good enough for his father. Too fine minded for the Iron Isles he yet is charismatic and talented, nd his crew loves him nonetheless. He would earn his own fame and rights. And a few weeks afterwards, he aplogizes to Asha but she already forgave him. Robb is still the stranger on the Iron Isles. No one forgets to remind him - until Theon Asha take a stand against everyone harassing their friend. After his first fight against Pirates of the step stones, Theon brings, for his own joy and with the intention to spite his father two fierce mares to Harlaw for Robba and him learning how to ride properly. All he learns, all he sees, Robb writes to his parents, telling them about all the odd fishes he ate, the huge library of Lord Harlaw, Lady Alannys slipping him small cakes whenever tradesman from Old Town find their ways to the iron Isles, about his beautiful white mare Theon gave him, Lord Aeron as he is bold and funny, Asha who is like a boy, Theon. Theon with eyes blue and grey like the sea and sky of Pyke. Theon who is so exceptional at sword fight and archery. Theon who always dresses so finely in the clothes he won from the pirates. Theon, his best friend. Whenever a raven reaches Pyke, five minutes later the Harlaws, Cleftjaw, Asha, and Theon would hear from Winterfell. About Robb's halfbrother, from Robb's baby sisters, and all the other children Lady Catelyn seemed to get without any end. Eventually Catelyn and Alannys begin to exchange letters. Alannys easing Catelyn's worries for her son, Catelyn feeling sympathy for Alannys loss. By time Theon would collect many hearts by maidens from the free cities, Lannistport, Old Town, and form the Isles. Robb grows in a fine shape, pretty, strong, unknowingly gentle for this cold place, with his rare red hair wins many looks and pleas yet he is too shy to take any girl's offer. And when they were both grown into young men Robb is afraid to bathe in the sea with Theon, Theon kisses Robb "like brothers do" but only when he is drunk. (Asha, Alannys, and Cat from what Catelyn read in Robb's and Alannys' letters just roll their eyes at them.
