Over the course of the next few weeks i will sharing images of some of my favourite prints from my personal collection. Most of these pieces are what gave me the inspiration to start creating my own artwork and ultimately starting www.thrl.co I will include as much information about each piece and the aritst i can. (including social media tags) Im also going to give brief background as to when/why/how i got the piece and why its important too me. My hopes is that this blog post series will help you all to find some new artists you can follow and give you some inspiration in all your creative endevours. First up... 'Griffith Observatory' by Marz Jr. 18"x24" 3 colour screen print. I first stumbled across Marz's work at an awesome gallery in LA called Wallspace. I immediatly loved the symplicity of his work and his totally recognisable style. It wasnt untill around a year later that i found him selling prints at a arts/crafts fair in downtown LA that i actually got this print. Griffith Park is one of my favourite places in the world and this piece just instantly reminds me of all the memories and great moments i have enjoyed there. I hang this print framed in my kitchen.
