5 years ago this day, we said “I DO”. ♥️ Our relationship originally started a little backwards, and has not been without hiccups or an easy road by any means...but we are still here ~ together. My tips of having a Thriving (pun NOT intended, I promise!) marriage is that ego has NO place in it & to LET GO of always having to be “right”. Compromise. Team work. Not always seeing eye-to-eye, but being on the same page. Being that soft place to land & being that #1 ride or die. Taking good care of your own selves so that you can better take care of one another. And always let them know how much you appreciate them ... especially when it comes to the little things that often get overlooked. This day 5 year’s ago just a week before we said “I DO” & yesterday. I’d say we’ve changed a little bit since then, wouldn’t you? A LOT can be said for 3 simple steps we began implementing in our daily lives 38 months ago. You can SEE it on the outside, but it has done SO much MORE for us on the inside. It just happens to shine through for everyone else to see!! If you are Thriving, I can’t imagine not doing it with your partner. Our love story is not one without hiccups & struggles. In fact, it's because of those things that we have endured & persevered that make our story just that much greater.
