Also celebrating the fact that I fit into this shirt (that I love) for the first time in the better part of a decade.

- following @lovethroughamachine and I around the kitchen,

- climbing up high,

- feeding himself, and

- eating cocktail style (i.e. standing up).

Diz, being a tradie's daughter, worked out a way to address all of these things at once and, with her dad's help, produced this contraption. She calls it a Learning Tower, and it's basically a standing frame mounted on top of a step-stool.

And holy moly, BB is MAD for it.

With it pushed against the kitchen bench, he's able to stand up with the grownups, and feed himself at the same time!

The bar on the back prevents him falling backwards (and of course we're always right there next to him). We're trying to teach him to climb in and out himself, but even without that skillset yet, the Learning Tower is a huge hit in our household!

Of course, being his mum's son, BB took no time at all to work out that this arrangement lends itself to dog manipulation just as well as his high chair does.
