"You seem tense. Mi Hermana says eating can make you feel better. Here." She handed the teen a few pieces of Aborrajado. "When I get sad and stormy Mamá says to think about clear skies. It might help you too." She nods wisely, still enjoying her own snack. ~threeblessed from Pepa because laughs
Pepita's eyes widen immediately, because how can they not? How was there another? She's a little apprehensive about taking the snack, but she does remember being this age, and she's not a monster.
"Uh. Gracias," she starts, wavering on a name for a version of herself even younger than she. She can't think of any, though, so she just bobs her head appreciatively and takes a bite.
At the little girl's advice, she groans quietly. She's had about enough of mamá's reminders to clear her skies for a lifetime. "Trust me, I know about clear skies. But.. thank you."
