ok this is giving me hucklerobby fauxcest vibes when reader is sick.

maybe it's something simple like the common cold, but robby waits on your hand and foot. he pulls some strings to get you the next three days off of work. you wake up every morning right before he and dennis are going off to PTMC with a hand on your forehead. robby just clucks sadly when he feels the little baby fever you're fighting off.
on the ride to work, all robby has to talk about is how worried he is about you, how you must be feeling, if you're gonna get sicker during the day, or– god forbid –if you get lonely. even at work, robby just keeps asking dennis how he thinks you're doing (despite the fact that he's texting you every time he gets a spare second).
it gets old quick. dennis tries to change the topic, but robby won't budge. he's just so worried about his baby, apparently (not "apparently"– he said so to dennis). when the both of them get home, robby sprints to where you lay on the couch, covered by just about every blanket there is in the house.
dennis has to admit, you don't look well. but you confessed to not having anything to eat or drink all day plus not taking the medicine dennis picked up for you last night. it's ridiculous, you're practically making yourself worse and robby is babying you for it! he gives you cuddles and kisses and attention all night while dennis has to pout from the armchair in the corner.
but maybe, just maybe, when robby runs to grab you a medicine ball from starbucks (a request dennis scoffed at, earning a scolding from robby), dennis makes sure to show you just how bad he feels for you.
against his lips, you try warning him that he'll get sick. dennis tells you he doesn't care. it doesn't make much sense to you until two days later, once you're finally feeling better, when dennis coughs a little too hard.
robby's head snaps dennis's way, "are you okay?"
dennis's eyes flick from you to robby, "i don't know. i–" he clears his throat, eyes growing dramatically wide, "i think i'm getting sick."
robby gasps. suddenly, the arm thrown around your shoulder is lifted. you blink, and it's now pulling dennis into his lap.
"poor baby," robby coos, pressing his hand to dennis's forehead. the younger man simply stares at you from behind robby's back. "don't worry, daddy's here."
