Dorcas supposed it wasnāt very brave of her to be avoiding people, but well, she really did not want to run into James this morning. She was trying to keep her head in the game, and well, seeing him would not help. It wasnāt that she didnāt want to talk to James. She did still quite like him after all. But, well Lily was her best friend, and she really had to be on her side by principle alone. Apart from the fact that she wasnāt picking a side. From the outside it looked like she was, but she really was not. She was actually feeling quite torn, and well, it was not fun. Hence why she didnāt want to run into James when she was trying to concentrate.
Of course, because of that, it was typical karma that on her arrival to the Prewett Estate that day, she ran straight into James. It wasnāt as if she could just ignore him, or pretend she hadnāt seen him. Sheād practically walked into him.Ā āSorry James....ā She mused, a little smile on her lips.Ā āA little distracted.ā Heād understand right? He was going out in the field too after all.Ā
