Where: Finnick's room
When: A few days after Finnick was released from the Hospital

Whilst she had wanted to see him as soon as he'd been released from the Hospital, Cadence had given Finnick some space. She also knew that there were plenty of others that would want to see him too. And in the grand scheme of people that would want to see him, Cadence didn't think she was that important. But she did care about Finnick, and so a few days after his release, she found herself outside the door to his room, or well his new room. She felt a little nervous. Not because of Finnick. But more because of the chance that his little boy was also going to be there. Cadence hadn't really been around children much, apart from the orphanage and then the older kids she'd taught in the academy. But little kids, she had very limited experience with. Not many people liked her enough to trust her around their children. But Finnick was important to her, and so she would try.
Biting her lip, the brunette knocked on the door. Better now than never, and the more she stood outside the door, the more likely she was to just walk away. She supposed she could only hope that Finnick was in the room, because the chances of her walking around to find him were pretty slim.
