When: Day 69

When she'd gotten to the filming studio this morning she had practically groaned when she saw the name at the top of the list. It wasn't that she was against filming anyone. She just wasn't so sure how she felt about filming people that were so obviously traumatised. Cressida had always felt a weird sort of connection to Annie, even though she'd barely spoken to her. The games that Annie had won had been the first year she'd been on the filming team. And so, filming the victor from 4 was not a new thing. Filming her after everything that had happened in the Capitol, was different. It was the reason why Cressida had internally groaned when she had seen Annie's name. She had wondered if anyone had even bothered to ask her, but when the time she was due to turn up came and went, Cressida decided nobody had. She supposed she could have left it, but she was trying to make people believe she wasn't like the other Capitolites.

Who: Cadence and Annie ( @fatefought)

Not a lot of things stopped Cadence in her tracks these days. Since she'd been in the Games, and then endured all the lovely life that was offered to a victor, she'd seen most things. She hadn't anticipated that little show though. At first, she wondered if it was the Capitol's sick way of getting everyone excited for that was to come, but then that message came, and it was very clear it was not the Capitol. To be honest Cadie barely thought about who had done it. Her mind was more swimming with the memory of the kill she'd just watched herself do. She hadn't watched her games since the win. And whilst she was impressed with herself, and thought she looked good, she really did not want to see the kills again.

But as the party had got back into action, and some people seemed to forget that they'd just watched innocent children kill and get killed, Cadie's thoughts went to a couple of the other victors. She might not get along with all of the other victors, but they were victors, and they had to stay together. Only they knew of the things they went through. That was why Cadie spent the next few moments walking around the party until she found one particular victor.

It had been over a week since the rescue. It had been over a week since she had seen Annie. Cadence would have felt bad if she wasn't feeling so upset herself. There was only so many times a person could ask to see their family and be continually turned away before it really impacted on them. It had felt like nobody understood. She'd lost Clove. She'd lost Brutus. And then they'd refused to allow her to see what was left of her family. It had practically broken the young victor from 2. And then 2 days ago she had been allowed to see them. That had broken her too. It had made her angry too. Thea and Enobaria had needed her, and she hadn't been able to go. It had been lucky that there wasn't much in the room she shared with Juniper that she could break. And really it was only Juniper and Johanna that had managed stop Cadence from breaking herself. She understood though, that a broken hand wouldn't be helpful to the rebellion. And despite her upset, despite her anger, she wanted to be helpful.

After having been able to visit Thea and Enobaria, her mind had finally travelled to other members of what she considered her found family. She felt a little guilty for just neglecting Annie over the last few days, but she knew that Annie had people that cared about her who would be with her. But, finally, on the 69th day she arrived at the door to the Odair's room. She'd been here quite a few times since the arena break out. She just hadn't been so unhappy then. Cadence supposed she felt kind of okay now though. Her worries had settled a little after seeing Thea and Enobaria. That combined with the hoodie of Junipers that she was wearing, even though it practically buried her petite frame, was making her feel some sort of okay. The knowledge that her family was okay, and the familiar scent of her new lover, made things feel okay.
