Man, these geometric-only papercraft posts get old fast. Where’s the actual origami?

origami is pretty much applied geometry--it's why many famous origami designers also have interest in math

in order for origami to work it requires looking at basic geometric principles to recreate forms that are seen in the imagination (i.e the origami axioms)

i may not have a good enough understanding to design things but i at least know that geometry is what turns a simple sheet of paper into something beautiful.
