💞💘🌸 VALENTINE'S DAY PROMPTS

It was a cold day as Kitt returned to the cottage after being out to the markets. The storm had thankfully passed on, but a thick blanket of snow still remained covering much of the countryside. It didn't bother her much, but she was glad to be back home. As she entered the cottage, she went over to the kitchen to put away her purchases in the pantry.

However, as she did so, she noticed something placed on the round wooden table next to the kitchen. Curious, she quickly packed away the remaining items and made her way over to it. As she got closer, her brow raised and a quizzical hum escaped her lips. On the table, was a red box tied with white ribbon that was easily pulled off with one gentle tug. As she did that, she carefully lifted the lid. Her eyes blinked and widened at the pleasant surprise inside.

An assortment of chocolates were found. All placed in neat little rows of four. And from what she could see, a whole other layer of the candies were right beneath it. This was an absolutely taken aback by this and she looked around the space. There was only one other person she knew of who would do something like this, but he didn't seem to be around at the moment. Out hunting again, maybe .. Or perhaps just napping somewhere within the cottage they both shared.

Feels decent so far. Since the website is free that means books need to be excerpts or public domain, so technically they have Dune but it's just chapter one. Was fun to read other's commentary and leave my own though.

Biggest issue is the lack of things to discuss and people to talk with, but complaining about lack of people and content on a website is a self fulfilling prophecy. You can upload things yourself to the website but copyright stuff applies.

As someone who sometimes reads academic articles for fun, it might genuinely be helpful for parsing some of them. And also make it more fun and thus help me get at it, sometimes the dryness of the delivery overcomes the interest in subject matter. But not sure if I could or should upload stuff I grabbed off academia.edu. The site is partially intended for use by educators at least.

“Merde!”

The woman’s eyes widened in surprise as a sudden weight quite literally fell against her body. Dropping the potted plant she had been planning to set up on a shelf inside the shop, Amélie threw her arms out to catch the man who had apparently fallen asleep standing straight up. She jumped as the pot hit the ground with a crash, its contents spilling across the floor and causing a few other guests to look their way.

“Wanna test it out?” Seo grinned, ready to call the shots. There was nothing more fun than taking a leap of faith, and then facing the consequences afterwards. It was the thrill of constantly taking risks that made it all worth it.
