FALLING
It felt like that was everything she did these days.Â
First, she fell from Heaven. Quite literally, plummeting to the ground with such a speed, she wondered if it would leave her broken and shattered like a human would with the impact that sole action had upon her entire existence.Â
Sisters and brothers alike had been expelled from heaven without any warning. And all she knew was that it was the fault of those hunters. The Winchesters and Castiel.Â
Then came the falling in another way. The longer she spent on Earth, the more she felt herself falling prey to vice in a manner her holy being never should. Every time she sinned, however minor, she berated herself. Yet, life on earth had a way of leaving her without much choice. In order to walk among the mortals, to belong to them and to survive herself, a white lie now and then was inevitable.Â
And now came the worst fall of all.Â
Staring at those bright eyes, she felt her body warm in a way she had never experienced before. Unable to turn away, she drew closer and held her hand out for him to shake in a friendly gesture. âHello. I am Dina.â Angel of learning and wisdom, she added mentally, for she had introduced herself as thus for eons. Biting down on her lip, she managed to keep that to herself though. âWho are you?âÂ
