"Like boyfriend...like that she kisses and does cute stuff with!" He knew his sister was a grown woman, but he'd also never seen her actually show interest in someone. "She says he's really dorky, but what if I'm like ultra level dorky and he won't like me?"

"Either I'm going crazy or I think your brother might have swiped some of my ration cards," Beto grumbled as he looked through his wallet. Sighing and shoving it back into his pocket, Celia gave them a family discount but he still felt bad taking it, especially with limited supplies. "So is Sammie's doing alright? Vero's been huffy over us having to rebuild the bridges. Was hoping you and Essie are having a funner time at work."

Beto had practically scrambled into the dance hall, a little earlier than he'd told Grayson he'd be there but he'd never wanted to close up a booth quicker. Spotting him, he let out a sigh of relief before rushing over and wrapping his arms around his waist. Pressing his face against Grayson's back he let out a small whine. "Permission to be thrown into the crack?"

Beto yawned as he sat down on the edge of the bed, "So that nice dinner lady is his wife. They got married around Christmas, and like I know Hispanic people tend to have big families, but wow. I could barely follow the flow chart he showed me." He waved back to Harold on instinct as Grayson worked on him. "They do family dinners, think you're up for that? Cal said they could wear name tags, I think he was joking but I might take him up on it."
